ERPS 2026 – Outlook & Anniversary

This year will be a special one for the ERPS: we are celebrating 25 years of the European Recorder Players Society.
On this occasion, we would already like to draw your attention to the ERPS Biennale 2026:

 10–11 October 2026
University of Music Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany)

The event is planned as a festival of masterclasses with renowned teachers, public discussions on the recorder, and an instrument exhibition.
Best of all: admission and participation in the courses are free – for ERPS members and for anyone who would like to become a member.

New Initiative for active participation: Let’s play! – Your Local Recorder Day

We would like to encourage active music-making together even more – locally and informally. The idea:
A Recorder Day on a day and at a location of your choice. You take care of the organisation and implementation – the ERPS supports such initiatives with funding of approximately €500.
For ERPS members, participation is of course free.

Would you like to organise such a day? Or do you know someone who might be interested? Please feel free to get in touch with us!

The BIENNALE 2016

took place from December 7-11, 2016
at the Graz University of Art,
Austria instead.
