The Biennale will take place on 10–11 October 2026 at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg and offers a unique opportunity to work with some of Europe's most renowned recorder players.
As always, attendance at the Biennale and the masterclasses is free of charge for ERPS members and for those who would like to become members.

Active Participation:
Each active participant is guaranteed at least two lessons with two different teachers. During registration, participants may indicate their preferences and priorities for teacher allocation. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.

Passive Participation:
Passive participation is also possible and there is no registration deadline. However, we kindly ask you to register even as a passive participant, as this greatly helps us with our planning.

Additional Programme:
Alongside the masterclasses, participants can enjoy a varied programme including:
- Lectures on the recorder and its repertoire
- An instrument exhibition
- Plenty of opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with participants, teachers, and instrument makers
The Biennale will conclude on Sunday with a concert featuring selected participants from the masterclasses.
